I’m Michaela Rose,
I came into this world a spunky, independent, curly-top redhead ready to take on the world in my own unique way.
At age two, I was diagnosed with a very rare genetic disorder (Williams Syndrome). Specialists predicted that my capabilities would be very limited and my life would be challenging, but I had other plans to prove them wrong and have been doing so all my life.
A diagnosis of several food allergies, and my mom’s diagnosis of celiac disease in 2012, changed the direction of my life. With my family’s support and encouragement, my passion for baking and my dream of owning my own gluten free bakery was born. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with my mom to take on the challenge of creating allergen-free recipes and delicious baked treats. After years of experimenting, we have perfected our own secret blend of ingredients. In fact, it’s so delicious, you’ll never taste what’s missing!
Experiencing a disability can be challenging in a lot of ways. There are some things I need the extra support of my mom for.
My mom and I truly work as a great team. She helps support me and makes sure I have all I need to be successful.
Michaela’s Sweets is a homestead bakery offering custom cupcakes, whoopie pies, brownie bites, donuts and other baked treats to order. All treats are made in a completely gluten free/celiac and allergen friendly kitchen. We operate under New Hampshire's Homestead Kitchens act. All products sold are made in a residential kitchen and exempt from NH licensing and inspection.
Michaela’s Sweets uses a proprietary gluten free flour blend for all our baked goods and our treats are freshly baked to order. When possible, we source our ingredients locally to ensure freshness.
